How do I get to Mongolia?
There are several airlines flying to Ulaanbaatar, such as Aeroflot (Russian) MIAT (Mongolian) Turkish Airlines, and Air China. Try search engines like www.momondo.com to find the beste flights.
Many also prefer train and Mongolia is well connected.
Do I need a visa to enter Mongolia?
US nationals can travel in Mongolia for up to 90 days visa free.
Most nationalities can stay for 30 days visa free.
Please check with the Mongolian embassy in your country to find out if you need a visa and how to apply. Please visit http://www.immigration.gov.mn and check your current visa situation.
How long can I stay?
Our camp is open from 28th of April till mid September.

I have never been on a horse before, can I still try?
We have horses for all levels of experience. It's more important to be fit than your experience with horses. If there a different levels of experience within a group we will usually split the group in 2.
How do I get to your camp and how long does it take?
We pick you up anywhere in Ulaanbaatar (airport,hotel,train station) it takes 2 hours to get to our camp. See the map.
Do I need to get any vaccinations?
You are not required to have any vaccinations for Mongolia. It's absolutely up to you if you want to have any vaccinations. You can get routine vaccines such as those for influenza, chickenpox (or varicella,) polio, measles/mumps/rubella (MMR) or diphtheria/pertussis/tetanus, either in your home country or in Mongolia.
What do I need to bring?
Warm clothes, a waterproof jacket and sturdy shoes. Long pants are required - jeans or other heavy pants are a good choice for being in the saddle.
Bring a headlamp/torch/flashlight. Take sunblock, sunglasses, and hat.
Some comfortable cloths to ride in.
Definitely bring your camera, to capture those unforgettable moments!
Where will I be sleeping?
At our camp you'll be sleeping in a traditional Mongolian ger. Each ger has 4 double beds with gooses duvets.

I'm a vegetarian, will that be a problem?
No, not when Staying with Dream Adventure! On prior notice we'll be happy to cook any dietary food for you!

What are your water conditions (drinking and showering)? What about other drinks?
Water is provided in two ways. At the ger camp, we have a natural underground spring with fresh drinking water . On horse treks, we provide bottled mineral water for you to drink. Other drinks such as beer and vodka can be purchased at the camp. On prior notice we will have hot water for your shower ready.
How is your toilet and showers like?
Our outhouse is simple but beautifully constructed.
Solid timber with a sink, towel and biodegradable soap, filled with fresh wild flowers in the summer.
Our shower has the same style. please let us know if you need hot water for you shower.
Should I bring gifts?
Some people like to bring some small gifts for the families they meet in Mongolia. We recommend postcards from home or something else that is small, lightweight, and inexpensive. We do not recommend batteries (after they are spent they just get tossed in the garbage pile and leech chemicals into the soil), candy (that will contribute to kids' tooth decay) or cigarettes.
Do I have to pay a deposit?
no, you pay at the end of your stay in cash.
We accept US Dollars, Mongolian Tugrik and Euro.
Do I need to purchase travel insurance before traveling in Mongolia?
Absolutely. you are required to purchase travel insurance before the start of your trip. Make sure your travel insurance covers horse riding.
Due to the varying nature, availability and cost of health care around the world, travel insurance is very much an essential and necessary part of every journey.
